My daughter is very much interested in this and has wanted to visit a museum but this blew her mind. The mummy room and Ancient Egyptian floor is second to none. They had a monster making event on the top floor when we visited made from soft dough which hardened. All of the staff in there were super friendly aswell. There's an amazing cafe on the ground floor which has amazing fresh made produce and meals. We had a wheelchair so the stairs weren't an option but other people in the queue for the lift could've had more consideration. We waited a while for the lifts as we wanted to start at level 5 and work the way down. I would mark a star down for the lift situation but that's down to people not having common sense and courtesy for those with wheelchairs/buggies etc. If you go to Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool or Cbeebies Land at Alton Towers you can pay that for 1 person. However, I don't think the tired bits particularly bother toddlers and when you look at price it's really good value for money. You can see they are improving things though, for example the Gulliver's Gears area was new since we last went and that looked good. Parts of Gulliver's World do look old and tired. It was okay and the portion size was decent.Īt the end of the day, there were still lots of things we hadn't done and we could have easily spent a second day there doing the theatre, rides we missed, soft play and playgrounds. We had food from the diner at the park entrance and it was fairly average and overpriced typical of most theme parks, but it's what you expect. The park was reasonably busy with some school trips, but not horrendously can't move busy. We only queued a maximum of 20 minutes for 2 rides and most others we got on straight away. The selection of rides for a 3 year old are brilliant, and there are only 3 or 4 rides she was too small to go on. We had a brilliant day, arrived around 11am, left around 3:30pm and managed to get on 15 rides, have a sit down lunch and spend some time on one of the playgrounds. We visited here on a sunny Thursday afternoon in June with our 3 year old.
